Getting Here

All of the properties featured on this site are within 5 miles of Monflanquin and are approx 40 miles south of Bergerac on the N21. 

There are many different ways to travel to this area. 

By Road

The drive from Caen to Monflanquin takes around 8 hours.  Depending on your crossing time you may wish to stay overnight.  There are of course many hotels along the route ranging from budget Motels to luxurious Chateaus!

The route we reccomend takes you through Le Man on to Tours where you join the Motorway to Poitiers.  From here you leave the motorway and follow the route down to Angouleme and on to Bergerac.

By Train

France has a simply superb rail network.  The journey by train is fast and painless.  You are able to catch the Eurostar from Waterloo in London.  You have to change at Lille onto a super fast TGV.  This takes you to the city of Agen, just a 20 minute drive from Monflanquin.

 By Air

Low cost airlines such as RyanAir and Flybe has vastly reduced the cost of air travel to this region of France.  Ryan Air offer slights out of Stanstead to Bergerac and Fly Be offer flights from Birmingham also to Bergerac. 

Some times of the year you can pick up flights to bergerac with Ryan Air for just £4.99 plus taxes!

Other operators also fly to Bordeaux. 

Bergerac is just a 40 minute drive away from Monflanquin and Bordeaux is approx an hour away.

Car Hire 

Once at Bergerac you are able to hire a car for your holiday.  There are many choices but we like Buggs Car Hire.  They are very reasonably priced and of course conveniently placed right at Bergerac Airport!
