Things to Do - Golf

Golf in France is very much on the up.  This region is littered with high quality golf courses.  One of our favorites is Villenueve Sur Lot Golf Club.  Visit them online here - www.vslgolf.com

The club is situated just 1.5km from La Gabache and a 10 minute drive from The Winery and Le Beau Regis. 

The complex really is superb.  It boasts an excellent 18 hole championship golf course, a driving range and also a great 9 hole par 3 course.  This course is FREE to all junior golfers.  Maybe this explains why our French cousins keep producing excellent golfers?

The 18 hole course is an excellent and varied test of your golf.  The front nine features lots of water and the back nine is very hilly.  No two holes are the same. 

VSL Golf also has an excellent restaurant if you fancy eating out on a terrace overlooking the picturesque golf course.

Another course that we love to visit is Golf de Barthe.  You can visit them online at www.golfdebarthe.com.

This course is a nine hole venue and is owned by expat PGA Professional Brian Gower and his wife Kim.  Golf de Barthe has an excellent nine hole track that is buried in the beautiful countryside.  The clubhouse and terrace offer a great view of the golf.
